Mackey's ComebackKennel - Iditarod and Yukon Quest Champion

"Maple" is one of my "Superstars" - she is a 4 year old female (Blazer x Demon) She goes back to the same lines as "Zorro". Running in lead 2009 & 2010 with a 1st place Iditarod finish receiving the Golden Harness Award in 2010. Maple is always cued in to what's going on around her. She is one of those dogs that is always eager to take charge, lead and motivate the rest of the team. It is a such pleasure to watch her run. Amazing leader.. She has learned so much from my leader "Larry" and no doubt will take his place in the years to come..big booties to fill!

"Pimp"

5 year old male,"Pimp" is a stand out dog, not only for performance, but color, a real eye catch.

"BoyCuz"

3 year old male. Named "Boycuz" because I could not think of anything else to name him. A team dog, strong, powerful male. He has not run a whole lot, although this year he ran both the Quest and the Iditarod. He goes back to some of Andre Nadeau bloodlines, on one side, Andre came over from Qubec, Canada. Old Emmit Peters stuff on the female side. His background goes back a long way in racing bloodlines.

"Lippy"

Female. 6 years old. Hobo's sister. She is my new shinning star, she has decided she wanted to be a leader. She went with me to the Sheep Mountain 150 , Kusko and she led me in the Quest & Iditarod. Two golden harnesses. A very big female 60lb, hard driving, good eater. Just an all around good dog, obviously my new leader. She is mostly leg,. She has never been dropped. She has some sprint lines in her on the female side from Gopher Lord, out of Nenana, his stuff goes way back to Gareth Wright, George Attla, Clyde Mayo, Marvin Kokrine. That is why she has a houndier look, flop ears as opposed to the husky look.

"Amp"

2 1/2 year old male, leader. Grandson to "Zorro" son to "Rev". He is taking over the lead position and loving it. His name says it all. This is a dog every musher dreams of having a whole team of, AWESOME!

"Zena"

6 year old female, lead/team dog. "Zena" has been in a main team player for a few years now. Solid al around. She will most likely be a leader in the Jamiacan Team this year.

"Dred"

4 year old male, lead/swing dog. "Dred" is known in the dog yard as "The Man" . Top dog. He will be a player for years to come. he loves to race, leads but swing position is his spot.

"Dribble"

3 year old male, leader. "Dribble' has been our main leader for last years puppy team. "Dribble" is a small dog with a huge heart. He will most likely join "Zena" in leading Newton Marshall (Jamaiacn Team).

"Chucko"

3 year old male. HOLD ON! This dog has power! Big, strong and confident. This man is the real deal. Son of "Dred", grandson to "Zorro" Definetly a string.

"Lenny"

2 1/2 year old male. Brother to Von Truail and sister is "Prego". All this litter is great. All lead, all eager and very fast. This type of dog adds speed. Look Out!

"Sexy"

4 year old female. Her name tells it all. I love to watch her work. Smooth!

"June"

2 year old female. All drive and lots of mouth.

"Big Dog"

3 year old male. Veteran last year. Small dog, big name.

"Raunchy"

5 year old female. "Raunchy" has been one of only a few females to make the Yukon Quest and Iditarod team. She loves her job, very alert. Nothing gets by her. She will run lead, but she prefers to be in the teamsomewhere. She is sister to "Pimp".

"Rrapper"

7 year old male. "Rapper" has the mentality of a 2 year old. He cts like he never wants to grow up. I love this dog, my all around BEST! Nothing else to say - THE BEST!
